Option 1

Only pay if we win a grant

General Magic will only be paid grants that are won, following fee structure below. If we apply for grants and we don’t win them, you pay nothing!

For small grants under $10,000, General Magic will receive $1,000 or a fair percentage of the grant value (to be discussed on a case-by-case basis).

For grants between $10,000 and $25,000, General Magic will receive 15% of the grant value.

10% of grant value
or at least $3,750
For grants between $25,000 to $100,000, General Magic will receive 10% of the grant value or at least $3,750 (whichever is higher).

Option 2

Billable hours

General Magic will do the Grant research for free and only charge you for hours worked on the grant process. We will chat with you to propose grants to apply for and only work on grants after explicit approval.

The above scope of work and time spent on any grant-related work will be billed at $60 per hour.

General Magic will also receive a bonus of 5% of the grant value or a minimum of $1,000 (whichever is higher) for any won grants.

For small grants under $10,000, General Magic will receive a fair percentage of the grant value, to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

What do you mean by "Zero Risk"?

"Zero Risk" means you only pay us if we win you a grant. If we apply for grants and don't get them, you owe us nothing. It's our way of showing we're confident in our ability to secure funding for you.

Do you write applications for grants outside web3?

Our expertise and network are strongest in the web3, but we can evaluate and potentially assist with grant applications in other sectors on a case-by-case basis.
